Objective

BTC Power is looking to find a talented, efficient Sales Analyst to join a growing organization. This position is a mid-level staff position. A strong candidate is expected to contribute to process improvements and take ownership of the monthly sales forecast process, provide direct support to the sales team, maintain and publish price lists and Model numbers, provide inside sales support, and other duties as assigned. This position will answer inbound sales calls and respond to sales inquiries received via email. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance.

Major responsibilities
  • Provide primary telephone support for the sales group
  • Respond to sales department emails and direct inquiries to the appropriate sales person
  • Consolidate and publish the monthly sales forecast
  • Trade show administration: schedule shows, booth registrations, and display logistics (may be required to attend trade shows and/or assist in set-up and tear-down of exhibition booth and display items)
  • Responsible for product spec sheets, brochures, and other sales collateral materials
  • Work in harmony with the order entry team to ensure that all sales order information and schedules are accurate and entered properly
  • Provide interface between sales organization and operations team
  • Maintain the Product price lists and oversee product number (SKU) system
  • Assist in developing Charger data base system
  • Participate in various department-wide initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, or other related field
  • 3 or more years of experience(preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (vlookups and Pivots) (required)
  • Manufacturing Industry experience (preferred)
  • Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
  • Able to effectively communicate and work efficiently with sales department

Objective

Broadband TelCom Power, Inc is seeking for a well-qualified candidate Electrical Software Test Engineer at BTCPower.

Major Responsibilities
  • Responsible for testing and evaluation of systems and software
  • Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair
  • Responsible for performing electrical testing on EVSE, diagnosing the fault and cause of fault and driving appropriate corrective actions to ensure minimal reoccurrence of failures
  • Develop detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition needed to perform the test
  • Develops the plan for the next test activities or events based on results
  • Perform software testing on installation programs/scripts and software applications
  • Builds test fixtures to carry out various needs associated with testing the components in a manner that will be accelerated in terms of time and that will correlate with actual field use conditions.
  • Conduct site visits and analyzes engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives. Work with BTC Power field operations team to troubleshoot and complete FA on field systems
  • Reports to the supervisor about all ongoing projects with regard to project status, completion time projections and any problems that may have arisen during the course of the project
  • Troubleshooting to identify root cause of problems affecting the proper operation of various hardware
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience (Required)
  • 1-2 years min if previous work experience in electrical engineering or related position with experience on High voltage systems (Preferred)
  • Experience with laboratory test equipment – oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, DMM, etc.
  • Knowledge of HW communication standards – UART, RS232, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, USB, PCI-Express, SATA
  • Knowledge of PC systems and architectures
  • Familiar with Linux OS
  • Experience with electronic and mechanical assembly tools and processes
  • Willingness to learn new skillsets and take on new tasks
  • Experience with troubleshooting (e.g., diagnostics, problem solving, etc

Objective

The successful candidate will be an experienced testing technician and will take the responsibility for testing and provisioning electric vehicle charging equipment for customers throughout the world. Major Responsibilities
  • Operates required machinery and equipment in a safe manner following established safety rules, maintains a neat and clean work area, follows established tool and instrument control procedures, and reports any unsafe acts or conditions to his or her immediate supervisor.
  • Performs inspections and installation of parts and components on equipment stations
  • Maintains accurate records of the installation of these parts and the collection of test data.

Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ electronics manufacturing plant experience, preferably in high voltage (AC and/or DC >200V) systems.
  • A solid understanding of electricity (volts, amps, fuses, wire, AC vs DC, voltmeters, etc)
  • Experience with basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays).
  • Experience with electrical systems (installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting).
  • Experience with product manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs).
  • Experience with troubleshooting (e.g., diagnostics, problem solving, etc.).
  • Competent with windows PC’s and devices
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools and small power tools
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic so as to be able to work independently and simultaneously on multiple projects.
  • Must be capable of critical thinking and possess the ability to solve complex mechanical and electrical problems
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and carry loads of 50+ pounds is required
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills and an ability to read and follow written procedures.

Objective

We are seeking to add Field Service Technicians in Michigan, Ohio, New York, San Jose, CA and Santa Ana, CA. The successful candidate will be an experienced fieldservice technician and will take the responsibility for the maintenance of the electric vehicle charging stations for customers throughout the world. We are looking for individuals that will ensure operation and quality of our product as used by our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound telephone calls from Dispatchand related field technicians to activate new site equipment as well as provide remote support to troubleshoot problems in the field
  • Expected to take the lead role for installation and repair of EV charging station equipment in the field.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
  • Remove and replace defective components
  • Responsible for the performance of duties as a fully qualified electrician including installation, inspection and repair of all electrical/electronic equipment in the in the field.
  • Configure and support electronic and digital devices used to monitor and control charging equipment (e.g. network router and modems and credit card equipment configurations)
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
  • On occasion, interface with customers and EV drivers to understand details of reported problems
  • Assemble, install and repair electrical components, wiring and equipment
  • Capture and import data for analysis and processing
  • Assist wireless carriers to establish Virtual Private Networks with SAAS partners
  • Ensure corrective maintenance is identified from reports and input from field, authorizes work, work order created and scheduled, and quality report is submitted to clients when work has been completed
  • Expected travel about 25%-75% outside of geofence.
Required Skills, Experience and Education
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Field Service Technician role
  • Experience traveling for work is a MUST
  • Experience managing, supporting and deploying network infrastructures
  • Experience assembling, installing and repairing electrical components, wiring and equipment
  • Great communication / customer service skills
  • Strong understanding of databases and develop schedule reporting for weekly metrics.

Job Description

The Power Electrical Engineer shall provide power electronics engineering support for design, development, integration, operation and sustaining of electrical components, equipment and systems under moderate supervision. The Power Engineer shall participate in all stages of development from design through manufacturing support and system integration.

Major functions
  • Interpret customer specifications to define requirements for power electronics circuit and systems design.
  • Starting from conceptual phase, provide detail design of switch mode power converters and inverters, transformer rectifiers, control loops and/or magnetic components.
  • Perform engineering analysis of power electrical circuits and systems.
  • Perform hardware bring-up and integration and support power conversion systems hardware / software integration.
  • Provide complete documentation, product verification and part’s list.
  • Write product and test specifications.
  • Provide sustaining engineering on existing products supporting manufacturing and test departments.
  • Provide technical support for manufacturing, production and fielded equipment
  • Ability to work simultaneously on a variety of projects.
  • Power / Electrical Engineer will take directions from Project Engineer or Power Engineering Department Manager.
Technical skills
  • Must have design familiarity with power conversion topologies and electrical components
  • IGBTs, MOSFETs and SCRs used in power switching applications.
  • Circuit analysis applications, PSPICE preferred.
  • Magnetics design and closed control loop design experience, a plus.
  • Must be able to work as a key member of the design team with other Power Design Engineers, Digital and Analog Engineers, System Engineers and Software Engineers.
  • Proven effective communication with Senior Project Management and customer representatives is essential
EDUCATION andEXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the design of power conversion equipment or related equivalent experience and/or training.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience designing high voltage power supplies.
